Google fonts in Adobe Animate CC

Since few months a new important feature is available in Adobe Animate CC: Google Fonts.

Yes! We’re finally allowed to use that beloved fonts in our project built in Animate.
The working method is very simple. First of all you can use that fonts only with dynamic text (static are not allowed).

 

Then choose your preferred font clicking on the “world” button in the “Properties” panel.

Then, choose from the next window the font you like.

Once you’ve done, select (or write down) the name of your font in the Font Family box and … that’s all.

Save your project and test it. You’ll see your text with your Google fonts 🙂

Oh by the way, this feature fix another important past issue: the text rendering. Right now your text will appear net and clean 🙂
